Research & Development
Our experts have extensive experience conducting product and process research
and development employing a range of disciplines including microbiology, chemistry,
biochemistry, and chemical engineering on beer.
R&D involves developing analytical methods for assessing the quality of
raw materials and products, and it studies of the relationships between
product composition and sensory properties including haze, foam, flavor and flavor
stability.
We also work with on-line process monitoring instruments,
production problems, by-product utilization, and new product development.
Our activities allow:
- more technological flexibility than an industrial plant;
- more reproducibility and repeatability of the trials;
- the real time chemical and microbyological analytical control
permits to determinate:
- analitical markers coming from the process;
- more nutritional values for the final product.
- Development of new technologies;
- More simulation of production process;
- Technological consulting for the improvement and the industrial planning
of new products and/or production processes.
Some of our analytical instruments (GCMS; HPLC-LSD; HPLC-DAD; HPLC-ECD; NIR).
